For Healthcare Professionals

The Learning Services of American International College is an excellent option for healthcare professionals looking to recommend a resource to families of students with language-based learning disabilities.

The Diagnostic Center at the Learning Services of American International College provides assessment and evaluation services to children, adolescents, and adults who have academic and accompanying social difficulties while in school, or those who experience the effects of those difficulties in the workplace.

The Learning Services’ expert staff includes full-time speech/language pathologists, school psychologists, special educators, and teachers. The proven, research-based interventions employed by these incredible professionals help students overcome their unique challenges while developing needed academic and social skills.

Learning Services offers focused remediation for all students through on-site Tutorial Services, and Supportive Learning Services, a resource for college students needing additional academic support or special accommodations. Additionally, our Summer Instructional Clinic keeps students engaged throughout the summer months, resulting in higher retention of the lessons learned during the previous academic year. Learning Services also began offering Social Skills Groups in Fall 2014.
